Ram Charan is raring to go national. The adventurous actor is all set to cast his spell on Bollywood. By audaciously choosing to remake Zanjeer! The news is that he is going to make the official announcement of his debut in Hindi in some weeks.

The 1973 film, which starred Amitabh Bacchan and Jaya Baduri in the lead, has long enticed Ram Charan. That he has been considering to make the Bollywood foray since long (at least a year) is clear. Ever since the release of Magadheera in July 2009, the actor has had his eyes on Mumbai. In fact, it was rumoured in early 2010 that he was keen on remaking Magadheera in Hindi. (Later, the news broke out that Hrithik Roshan was interested in the film).

With Charan having two films lined in Telugu, and the Hindi project, 2012 will be the busiest year. Besides Raccha, Yevadu with Vamsi Padipalli is an action-family entertainer. He is also getting married to Upassana Kamineni this year.

Cherry will be the youngest Telugu actor to make a big-ticket debut in Hindi. There will be much debate around his aptness for the role and the wisdom of remaking a subject like Zanjeer. Since comparisons will be invariably drawn not only between the new Zanjeer and the Prakash Mehra, but also between Cherry and Big B, he has a big task cut out for him.
