Behind the bubbly persona of Hansika Motwani is a generous human being who loves dispossessed kids. This is the reason why she will spend her altruistic time with her 20 adopted kids and take them on a picnic. The fun-loving actress will spend the day with the children and make them experience celebration.

In fact, she usually likes to keep her philanthropic activities secret. She was surprised when the media first broke the news of her being the adopted guardian of 20 kids in August this year. "I don't know how word got out. From a young age, my mom instilled in me a sense of social responsibility. I prefer using part of my earnings for a good cause like this, instead of partying on my birthday", she was quoted as saying to a national daily.

The talented actress has had a busy 2011. In Telugu, her role in Oh My Friend did not get much recognition, thanks to Sid and Shrthi who overshadowed her. When Tollywood is not very enthusing, Kollywood is offering her the much-needed big-time offers. Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, being produced, and acted in, by Udayanidhi Stalin (in the lead) and Simbu-starrer Vettai Mannan, are her biggest films.
