Suresh Kondeti was described by Sahithi (dialogue writer) as a gem among the journalists. When he watched Engeyum Empoddhum in Tamil, he was perceptively knew that the universal appeal of the film would be accepted by the audience in Telugu as well. With Anjali recommending his name to Murugadoss, he went on to bag the dubbing rights. Journey, released ten days ago, is, in the words of Jai, a hit like a straight Telugu film.

Sahithi, who is the dialogue-writer of the moment, is happy for all the appreciation he is getting. He would not care two hoots whether offers come his way or not. "Saravanan has made this movie without causing the youthful flavour to taper off. The film is entertaining, it is a universal subject", Sahithi said.

Director Saravanan, whose debut film in Telugu Ganesh was a flop, resolved to prove himself this time. He is happy that Journey is garnering all the accolades.

Suresh Kondeti is happy that he could produce the Telugu version of the Tamil film produced by someone like AR Murugadoss. For Jai (the other hero, aside from Sharwanand), the film is the third hit in Telugu. He idolises Pawan Kalyan for his acting. "I like Bunny for his dancing, I admire Mahesh Babu's looks," he said.

Anjali said that the audience are liking her bubbly-girl role.
