Saloni and Sankranthi luck

One distinct advantage that a good start brings with it is that opportunities will not stop coming to you despite a flop or two. Saloni's own filmography bears testimony to this fact. If Telugammai, which tanked without a trace, has not threatened her career, it is because she had made a swashbuckling entry through SS Rajamouli's Maryada Ramanna to begin with.
Lucky that she is, the actress, having proved herself as a performer with a panache, is looking forward to the release of not one but two releases this Sankranthi. Bodyguard and Adhinayakudu, are the ones in which she will be seen in important roles, occupying the screen space with Venkatesh and Balakrishna.
This is no mean achievement for a fledgling actress with just a hit in her career. Saloni, whom her father, a customs officer, wanted her to become a lawyer, says that she had always wanted to become an actress. Her driving desire helped her persevere and an opportunity changed her career graph.
"Success and failure are not in our hands. What is important is, we should do our work," she says philosophically. Saloni is juggling Tollywood and Sandalwood.
Though she is not playing the solo female lead in her up-and-coming movies in Telugu, she stands good chances of becoming more familiar after their release. That's for sure.
