This is another case of father investing on son in Kannada cinema. Shanmuga Sundaram invested over one crore of rupees in the last 14 months on his son Vasanth to see him in flying colors in 'Akhaada' Kannada cinema. The audio of the film was released by flamboyant Sri Yogishwara Rishikumara Swamiji at GM Rejoyz.

Young and intelligent Swamiji told the masses why not Swamijis not see the films made. I saw the songs of this film today because Vasanth is my 'Shishya'. The learned Swamiji gave a lengthy speech on the state of Kannada film industry today. He urged everyone to promote Vashanth who is making his first step.

After an unsuccessful film 'Hrudayadalidenidhu' director Shivan is on a newspaper as his subject.
