That Mahesh Babu is too happy at the way Dookudu has turned out was known to the world when he expressed heartfelt thanks to Sreenu Vaitla, his co-star Samantha and music director SS Thaman. Yesterday marked the last day of the film's shoot, with Vaitla wrapping up everything, including the patch work.

Right from the superstar hero down, everybody have their fingers crossed. They are waiting for the D-day (September 23), when the film will release to, it is estimated, the grandest of the openings.

Mahesh took the opportunity yesterday to once again thank his director and the team of technicians and artists. Well, such is the simplicity of Mahesh that he always makes it a point to attribute success to the unit.

Made by 14 Reels Entertainment, the film stands in good stead to make its imprint on the BO. Despite being a flop, Khaleja collected extravagant sums in the first week. It is hoped that Dookudu will cross the expectations if it can generate favourable talk.
