Divya made her debut as child artiste and she played in several south Indian language films for the past 12 years. Though she belongs to Telugu origin, she was brought up in Chennai as her parents settled there.

She is a brown-belt holder in Karate and learnt Bharata Natyam. Noticing her multi-faceted talents and big eyes, she was roped in for the role of Jejamma in 'Arundhathi' and it was blockbuster.

After a few years, she made her debut as heroine in 'Nenu, Nanna, Abaddham' recently. The film though not a commercial success, her performance won critical acclaim.

However, she looked a little bulky and hence she is getting ready to undergo a surgical procedure to shape up her body. Earlier, several heroines went under knife for adjustments in face and nose etc., but Divya is planning to go for liposuction for a curved and romantic body shape.

Let us wait and watch how she would be after the treatment.
