The makers of Sunil-starrer Poola Rangadu are leaving no stone unturned to wrap up the shooting of their film to release it on the occasion of Sankranthi, on the 14th of January, 2012. They began the shoot on August 18.

Directed by Veerabhadra Chowdary, the film stars Isha Chawla of Prema Kavali as the lady lead. Incidentally, Prema Kavali was also produced by Max India of Atchi Reddy, which is producing this movie.

It is being presented by RR Movie Makers. The director had earlier made Aha Na Pelanta (2010), which just broke even. Anup Rubens composes the music for this.

Sunil will be the first one who stands to gain from the film's success because he hasn't had a hit as the male lead and Katha Screenplay Darshakatvam - Appalraju only added to his woes.

Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ali, Pradeep Rawat, Raghu Babu, Dev Gill, Pragathi, Sri Lalitha, 'Sathyam' Rajesh, Duvvasi Mohan and others are the other cast.
