Pawan Kalyan is gearing up for his next film 'Gabbar Singh', the remake of successful Bollywood film 'Dabangg', whose shooting is most likely to begin from September 9.

Harish Shankar, who had directed a hit film like 'Mirapakay' was asked to wield the megaphone and the Power Star reportedly told him to rehash the entire story to suit the Telugu nativity.

The director had already selected Ajay for the half-brother's role of the hero, while Abhimanyu Singh of 'Rakta Charitra' - fame as villain and Shruti Haasan as heroine.

However, he is still searching for a glamorous heroine for the all-time hit song of the film 'Munni…'.
