A case has been filed by the Hayathnagar police on Manchu Vishnu in a hit-and-run case yesterday. The actor's vehicle reportedly hit a motorist on Monday afternoon when on the way to Ramoji Film City. The driver did not stop after hitting the motorist who fell down, and whizzed past.

It caught the attention of another motorist, a youth, who followed the vehicle. Understandably, he was not aware that the vehicle belonged to Vishnu who was also in it.

As the vehicle stopped at the RFC, the youth went up to Vishnu and reportedly picked up an argument. An infuriated aide of the actor beat the youth at this. Hours later, the actor found his name in a complaint against him filed by the youth with the Hayathnagar police. Following this, the police slapped a case against the actor who had been on his way to a film shoot.
