R Narayana Murthy, who is known for bringing out revolutionary films, produced and directed a film based on the Telangana struggle to cash in on the present upsurge for separate Telangana state.

Earlier the film was expected to hit the screens on September 9 but the release was put off to September 16 due to the non-availability of theatres.

The actor-cum-director-cum producer made an attempt to explain the 60-year-old battle for Telangana freedom, and with a message 'Let us divide like brothers' and 'ive together like soul-mates'.

The film had recently completed its shooting, post-production and censor formalities. The film was specially screened for the Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who is striving for the separate statehood for Telangana.

He was impressed with the film and expressed confidence that the film would be a definite hit as the Telangana struggle is at its peak.
