Karthi is more happening than his brother Surya, these days in Telugu. After the surprise success of 'Naa Peru Siva' at the box office, Karthi is back with 'Sakuni', again a dubbed film from Tamil (Saguni). Directed by Shankar Dayal, a student of VV Vinayak (Dil), the film is a political satire.

Do not be misguided by the title. Karthi will actually be seen playing a cerebral, positive role like Sri Krishna and not a character like Sakuni. Exuding optimism, he said that the film's satirical aspect will be entertaining.

Sakuni's plot takes one too many twists in the second half, say the makers. Films revolving around politics have not been less in number (Rangam being an example).
