No body has ever dared to touch Gundamma Katha, the eternal classic, so far. Decades after the film was made, the grandson of the legendary ANR likes to act in the remake version of the film. While briefing the press at Annapurna Studios, Naga Chaitanya said that he will like to do such a film and even hinted that Tarak (Junior NTR) had sometime back hinted to him that he likes to be part of Gundamma's remake.

Though Chaitu has expressed his wish to work in multi-starrers, fruition will largely depend on the inclination of writers and directors to write scripts for many heroes. The only big multi-starrer that has been mooted for long by Dil Raju (with Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu) is still in nascent stages. Also given the huge costs involved in making even single-hero films, it is difficult to imagine the budget that a multi-starrer would run in these times.

It is hoped that the producers and directors get their act right and start churning ideas for the much-awaited multi-starrer trend in Telugu cinema.
