The sequel to 'Muni', directed by Raghava Lawrence with the title 'Kanchana' was first released in Telugu. The Tamil version was released a week later. Surprisingly, the film earned the hit talk in both the languages and more than the publicity given by the film-makers, it is the spread of mouth-talk that worked out and created wonders.

The film is running with houseful crowds at all the centres for all shows in all the centres where the film was released. With no good movie in sight, the film is running successfully all over the state. In fact, the film was a bigger hit in Telugu than the original Tamil.

Bellamkonda Suresh, who earned decent profits, by releasing it in Telugu, is in a very happy mood and gifted a brand new Benz car to the Raghava Lawrence. Not only that he had agreed to produce another straight Telugu film with Lawrence with the title, 'Full Mass and Raviteja is most likely to play hero in this film.
