Shammu seems to be going the 'Mudhal Mariyadhai' Radha way. To get her act right as an ancient Tamil girl, the 'Kanchivaram' actress is appearing without blouse in a movie titled 'Paalai'.

"She was initially hesitant when director Senthamizhan asked her to act by wearing a saree alone. But she realized that her role in the movie demands it and accepted to pay heed to the director's instruction," sources say.

"She will be seen without any make-up in Paalai," sources say and add: "It is a challenging character which required Shammu to stand under the hot sun for hours together. But she performed it with dedication."

Shammu has learnt a couple of martial arts for 'Paalai'. Not just that, she also acquired the art of climbing a tree. "All these things put together will make the movie an interesting thing to watch," claim sources in the unit.
