'Vettai' directed by Linguswamy, features Arya, Madhavan, Amala Paul and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles and is set in Thoothukudi. The music has been tuned in by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Interestingly, this film sees Madhavan and Arya playing brothers, whilst, Sameera Reddy who plays Maddy's wife, dons the role of Amala Paul's sister. Also, as we had earlier mentioned to you, Madhavan who appears with a paunch in this movie is a laidback cop unlike our regular superhero K'town cops.

The latest is that, the team is shooting key action sequences at Madurai, Thoothukudi and Arupukottai under the guidance of stunt master Silva.

Stunt sequences have always played a vital part in Linguswamy's movies and his earlier film with Madhavan - 'Run' was an action-packed thriller and gave a whole new image to the star among fans.

Sources who have witnessed the action sequences of 'Vettai' vouch that 'Run' would take a backseat and fans would fall in love with this action-packed family entertainer.
