Padma Shri Mohanbabu had not only played versatile characters on the Telugu screen including villain, comedy villain, hero and character artiste roles, but also produced several films on the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

However, as the films that are being produced on the banner were turning out to be flops in recent times, his elder son Manchu Vishnuvardhan Babu had launched another banner called '24 Frames Entertainments' and produced a film 'Vastadu Naa Raaju'. However, that film too failed to ring at the Box Office.

Now his daughter Lakshmi Prasanna too followed her brother and launched another banner titled 'Manchu Entertainment' and is producing a film titled 'Oo Kodathava Ulikki Padathava' with Manchu Manoj as hero and Balakrishna playing an important role in this movie.

It is a surprise that both Mohanbabu and Vishnu were conspicuous by their absence at the launch of the film. It is learnt that Mohanbabu expressed his dissatisfaction over the launch of another banner in the same family.
