You are on your way to work and pre-occupied; on the way you witness an accident but time is ticking and you might be late for the meeting, what would you do? Well most of us would think there might be someone else to help the victim lying helpless on the pavement and just zoom past.

Hansika Motwani recently came across an accident involving a two-wheeler and an old man, but her driver just zipped past the scene in high speed, may be he was concerned his employer might not want to get public's attention. But the actress and her mother who were present in the automobile traced their way back to the accident spot and to their horror found that no rescue had come to the victim. With help of a passerby they called up an ambulance.

Helping the injured senior citizen into the ambulance, Hansika's mother, who is a doctor by profession, took him to a hospital and the young actress followed them in her car. With timely medical intervention the injured, despite losing quite an amount of blood is said to be stable; he now has his family by his side. He and his family are eternally thankful to the young woman and her mother who had the heart to stop by and help when all others failed to offer a helping hand at a time of need.

Hansika believes in lending a helping hand to those in need. With this act Hansika, we are sure, will win more fans than with her act in films! For one she has the fans of actor Jayam Ravi cheering her with lots of tweets as well-done messages.
