‘Avan Ivan’ can be rightly termed as the most-awaited film this year for reasons more than one.

Vishal’s performance as a squint-eyed is eagerly looked forward to by fans and the film industry as it is the first time, internationally, an actor has attempted a squint-eyed performance for an entire movie. This is Arya’s second flick with director Bala; his first movie ‘Naan Kadavul’ received much critical acclaim for his performance. Stars, who witnessed the movie’s premiere, are awe-struck with Vishal’s, Arya’s and GM Kumar’s performance.

This is the first time Bala is doing a comedy entertainer, with his usual ‘Bala’ touch of realism of course. The movie sees Yuvan Shankar Raja’s whole-new-avatar with a complete different variety of tunes from the ace music composer.

This movie is all set for release in June, but there has been a change at the distribution levels. The film was said to be produced by AGS Entertainment and marketed by Sun Pictures, but now the movie will be marketed by AGS Entertainment as well.

Looks like the recent Tamil Nadu state election results has changed a lot things in the film industry.

‘Avan Ivan’ will hit the screens by mid June.
