Punjabi girl and former Miss India finalist Taapsee Pannu who got launched with K Raghavendar Rao's 'Jhummandi Naadham' has hit the jackpot now. She is all set to star with Gopichand in his next film being directed by Krishnavamsi.

Nallamalapu Bujji is going to produce this film on his Lakshmi Narasimha productions banner. This movie started shooting recently and till now no heroine was finalised. Sources say Krishnavamsi who usually potrays the heroine beautifully was impressed with her and decided to cast her next to Gopichand.

Taapsee is busy in both Tamil and Telugu films. Her last film 'Vasthadu Naa Raju' didn't evoke much response at the box office while her Tamil film 'Aadukulam' with Dhanush did well at the box office there. She is also doing second lead in Prabhas and Kajal starrer 'Mr Perfect'.

We hear she will start shooting for this film in Hyderabad soon. Krishnavamsi took a break after his 'Mahatma' failed at the box office last year. We are yet to see if Taapsee and Krishnavamsi combination will give the audience some visual feast.
