Preeti Desai, the former Ms. Great Britain, makes a short and sweet Bollywood debut in Balaji’s forthcoming comedy, ‘Shor In The City’, starring Tusshar Kapoor in lead.

Preeti shot a love-making scene with the extremely uninhibited American-Asian sensation, Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes, Covert Affairs), whose steamy on-screen encounter with Dania Ramirez in the third season of ‘Heroes’ became a talking point in Hollywood.

A seemingly worried Preeti, who is said to have moved base from London to Mumbai, reportedly wanted the scene to be toned down.

Initially the director had shot a brief love making scene between the two, but later realized that it needed re-shooting, as it lacked passion. After some coaxing Preeti agreed; and the scene, which has shaped up well, is likely to be retained in the final version of the film, which releases on April 28.

The festival cut of ‘Shor In The City’ won numerous accolades at leading film festivals in New York, Pusan, and Dubai.
