Producer SS Sameer is making his debut as director for a film ‘Contract’ to be produced on his own banner of Sameer Productions, with Arjun and JD Chakravarthi in the lead. Minisha Lamba who played heroine in ‘Kidnap’ and Bachna Ye Hasino’ is the female lead in this movie.

Sameer says, ‘I worked in the direction department in Varma Corporation’. After I narrated the story, both Arjun and JD adjusted the dates for me. It is a triangular love story with action in its backdrop. At the same time, there will be good entertainment besides the family sentiment. The characters of Arjun and JD would compete with each other. We had completed the first schedule in Bangalore between November 8 and 18. We are planning the second schedule in Hyderabad between December 10 to 30. We had also planned abroad schedules in Chennai, Malaysia and Thailand. There are a total of six songs in the film and Subhash- Viswas duo are being introduced as music directors through our movie. The recording of songs was complete and all of them came out well.’

Pradeep Rawat, Brahmanandam, Ali and others are in the cast. Camera is by Jani Lal, editing is by Venkatesh, art is by Shankara Reddy, action is by Selva while the film is being presented by Sailaja Creations.
