An experimental film titled ‘Eega’ has been undertaken by successful Telugu director SS Rajamouli, after his recent hit ‘Maryada Ramanna’. The shooting of the film is presently in progress.

The latest buzz is that Kannada actor Sudeep has been roped in for a negative role in the movie. Rajamouli had posted this information in his micro blogging site. Sudeep also played in ‘Phoonk’ of Ram Gopal Varma and also played the role of a reporter in his recent release ‘Rakta Charitra’.

After watching Sudeep’s performance in Rann, Rajamouli contacted him. The post says, “Sudeep agreed to act in Eega as antagonist. Loved his style in Rann. Finally ‘Eega’ is moving forward. I'm very excited.”
