Earlier it was announced that the Allari Naresh-Kamna Jethmalani starrer ‘Kathi Kanta Rao’ would be released on November 17. However, the release was put off to December 9 due to some technical problems.

EVV Satyanarayana, father of the hero Allari Naresh, is directing the movie and it is being produced by Eedara Srinivas, Eedara Ravikumar Edpuganti Subrahmaneswara Rao and Edpuganti Purnachandra Rao on the banner of Big B Productions.

Claimed to be an out and out entertainer, the film has Allari Naresh in a constable role. He is as sharp as Kathi (knife). So much so that even his superiors are afraid to deal with him. But, Kantha Rao falls head over heels in love with a pretty girl and what happens next has to be seen on the big screen.

Ali, Venumadhav, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, MS Narayana, LB Sriram, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Raghu, Krishna Bhagawan, and others are in the cast. Mallikarjun is scoring music for the movie.
