Deva Katta is an NRI director, who made his debut with ‘Vennela’ and later came to limelight after the release of ‘Prasthanam’.

Recently, he had announced that he is planning a film on the rowdyism and politics in Vijayawada. Soon, Ram Gopal Varma, who always invites controversies also announced a film on the rowdyism in Vijayawada and even announced a title ‘Bejawada Rowdeelu’ during the promotion of ‘Rakta Charitra’.

However, Deva Katta started groundwork for his film ‘Rowdy Prasthanam’ and it is learnt that he chose Rana Daggubati as hero of the film and the film is going to be produced by KL Narayana on the banner of Durga Arts.

The shooting of the film would begin very soon. The age-old proverb ‘Empty Vessels Make More Noise’ was proved correct once again.
