It is well aware that Balakrishna is playing the role of Lord Rama with Bapu wielding the megaphone for ‘Srirama Rajyam’ to be produced by Yellamanchili Saibaba.

Though the film is a mythological movie depicting the ruling of Lord Rama, the director is said to have decided not to touch the childhood, marriage, exile to forests and killing of Ravana in this movie and only concentrate on the ruling of Lord Rama, the reasons for sending Sita back to forests the subsequent life and the birth of Lava and Kusa, the Niryana of Rama.

Jonnavittula is scripting the songs for the film, while Illayaraja is scoring for a mythological film for the first time.

The music sittings for the film have just begun recently.

The producer says, ‘We are making efforts to complete all the necessary spade work on the script before going to sets. We are planning to launch the film in November.’

Graphics are by Kamalakannan, camera is by PRK Raju, editing is by GG Krishna Rao, art is by Ravinder, while screenplay and dialogues are by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana.
