An advocate and a staunch Hindu filed a complaint in Balanagar police station that he feels insulted on listening to the news that Young Tiger NT Ramarao would appear in the film as Lord Krishna, with a modern attire.

He alleges that it is an insult to Hindu religion and asked the police to ensure either the cut of the scenes. It is worth mentioning here that Dil Raju himself revealed that NT Rama Rao would appear as Lord Krishna in a modern attire but with the crown and flute in his hands.

Several films have come up so far on the Telugu screen with the hero sporting the role of Lord Krishna, but the controversy erupted in case of this latest film.

Of course, some say that it is nothing but cheap publicity gimmick and there is nothing great to talk about. Whatever may be the case, the unit has the onus of explanation.
