Dil Raju had announced the release date of ‘Brindaavanam’ as October 14, a week ahead of the release of ‘Mahesh Khaleja’. This had put the Nandamuri fans in a fix as the fans of Maheshbabu remarked that NTR is running back fearing Maheshbabu.

However, Dil Raju tried to pacify the angry NTR fans saying, ‘It is not true that we ran back fearing another film. We are very sure that ‘Brindaavanam’ would be a massive hit as we gave a new dimension to NTR’s image in this film. In order to improve the chances of making it further and bigger hit, we made certain changes and we took a long time for digital intermediate works, which forced us to postpone our film.

Moreover, there should be a healthy competition between the heroes and it is good even for the Telugu film industry to have a healthy contest by maintaining one week gap between top heroes.
