Hariharan and Leslie, The Colonial Cousins, have attempted something new (as far as Tamil film music is concerned) in ‘Chikku Bhukku’, the Arya-Shriya Saran starrer. They have made Adnan Sami and the Wadali Brothers to sing for the film.

Sharing their experiences working with the music giants, Hariharan says, “We felt that it would be better if we could give a Sufi feel to the song Thooral Nindralum… So we approached the Wadali Brothers, who crooned it in a great way”.

On the number ‘Vizhi Oru Paadhi…’, sung by Adnan Sami, the singer-composer says, “The reason behind bringing Adnan Sami for this song was that we wanted a different pronunciation to suit the character it was meant for. And we have achieved it with the help of the singer”.

Directed by Manikandan, ‘Chikku Bhukku’ is produced by Media One Global Entertainment. “It is a romantic travelogue which starts in London and ends in Karaikudi. A youthful entertainer it will be”, says the director.
