The Rajinikanth - Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Robo’ is going to be the film of 2010. With hype already in high decibels the movie still hasn’t been sold to anybody in Telugu. Last week there was news saying the producers of ‘Robo’ are demanding a price of Rs. 30 crore and so there is hesitancy among the distributors.

But a few days ago a popular distributor Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao claimed to have bought the ‘Robo’ from Sun Pictures. But soon as that news broke Sun Pictures immediately came out and clarified that the film has not been sold to anyone yet.

In a counter clarification Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao maintained he had paid an advance and expects the final agreement to be reached soon.

Whoever gets ‘Robo’ to release in Telugu will have to get all his acts together to promote the film as much as they do in Tamil. The original film which is made at a cost of Rs. 190 crores and the Telugu version ‘Robo’ costing Rs. 30 crores it will be case study to know how much money the costliest film ever made in India recovers the cost in all versions.
