Now that she is a part of two big projects in Kollywood, Vijay starrer ‘Velayudham’ and Dhanush starrer ‘Maappillai’, Hansika Motwani is doing what many actresses from north India did in the past.

Circles close to her say she has been learning Tamil from a teacher and is very regular to the ‘tuition classes’. “Because, Hansika wants to make it big in Kollywood and she is aware that mastering the language is a must to achieve her mission,” they say.

The actress is extremely happy that Vijay showered praises on her at the launch of ‘Velayudham’ in Chennai a couple of days ago. “The actor likened her to Kushboo. This has made Hansika thrilled and excited,” sources say.

Besides offers from Kollywood and Tollywood, Hansika has been roped into enact the role Madhuri Dixit played in the 1990s blockbuster ‘Jamai Raja’. “It is a privilege to repeat the role that was beautifully played by Madhuri, one of my all time favourite actresses,” she says.
