They were the servants of two big adjacent households from their childhood. And when grownup, they naturally started a liking for each other. And when the social system prevented them from uniting, they decided to elope and to make a register marriage. It was only at the registration office that they realised that Malli had to wait for one more year, before attaining the minimum age for a legal marriage. And there starts their waiting for another year.

In fact, the longest one on their life.....This is the story of Malli and Kocherukkan narrated in the new movie ‘Nallavan’, all set to reach theatres by this weekend. Expected to make a sea change in the career of its lead hero Jayasuriya, the young actor takes four different life stages of the central character Kocherukkan in the movie. ‘Manickyam’ Mythili appears as Malli in the movie, supported by Suraj, Bijukuttan, Siddhique and Sudheesh in key roles.

Scripted by Ajith Nambiar, the songs of the movie by Mohan Sithara are already chart toppers. ‘Nallavan’ produced by Bethestha productions will make a wide release on the 9th of July 2010.
