Here we come with a scoop which could make Ajith fans jump with joy. If sources are to be believed, the actor has temporarily quit the car races in which he was busy for the past couple of months.

“Ajith will soon start his 50th film which will be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. He has decided to give a break to races thanks to some personal and professional reasons,” circles close to the actor say.

The actor, who is also an avid racer, was busy with the Formula 2 races for the past few months and made some remarkable achievements on the racing track.

With a personal best lap timing of 1:44.007, Ajith Kumar completed the race in the first round of FIA Formula 2 Championship at Silverstone, UK. Ajith, who started at position 22 and finished the race at 18, said at that time, "The agenda was to hang in there, get the race feel of the car and complete the race. I have achieved this in my very first F2 race."
