It is always the lighting first and then the rain! The latest update from Ram Charan Tej’s ‘Maerupu’ is that the film’s unit is currently shooting in Chennai and the shooting has come to a halt for 2 days.

The reason for the halt is simply because of the rain! The film is being shot in Chennai’s Binny Mills, director Dharani has asked his art director to set up a set resembling a colony. Sources close to the film’s unit say that the hero’s introduction will be done in this set. Besides the introduction, important scenes will also be shot.

As it is raining in Chennai, the shooting has come to a pause forcing the film’s unit to extend this current schedule to June 18th in Chennai. The movie is slated for a year end release and Charan fans will have ‘thunderous’ action!
