Power Star Pawan Kalyan will do a meaty role in a new movie that will deal with the life of Jesus Christ.

This big budget movie will be produced by K.Krishnam Raju for Aditya Productions, the makers of Balakrishna’s ‘Vijayendra Varma’, Nagarjuna’s ‘Sri Ramadasu’, etc. The movie will be directed by veteran director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. It will be a children’s movie. It was mentioned that not many movies with a religious backdrop have kids in the lead roles. Interestingly the movie is being made in four languages – Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English.

Addressing the press, producer Krishnam Raju said that to do a movie on Jesus Christ is a blessing and he was fortunate enough to make a movie on him. He said that Pawan Kalyan will do a very important role. Though there have been quite a few movies on Christ before, this movie will be made differently and with kids as members of the cast.

Being a multi-lingual movie, it is learnt that superstars from the popular languages are being roped in for important roles. The movie will be launched on June 30th at Mumbai. The technicians involved in the movie are Shekhar and V.Joseph behind the camera, while Ravindar will take care of the art with popular writer for many devotional movies, J.K.Bharavi will be the writer for this movie.
