‘Nagavalli’, the sequel to Rajinikanth’s Chandramukhi, by director P.Vasu, is being shot at Korukonda in Vijayanagaram district.

Though Venkatesh is not with the film’s unit as of now, he will join his co-stars Richa Gangapodhyay, Kamalinee and others on May 13th, according to sources. The shooting is in progress at an old fort near the Korukonda Sainik School.

Most of the movie will be shot in this fort and in another undisclosed location. Sources say, director P.Vasu, who made the sequel already in Kannada that turned out to be a blockbuster, is making all attempts to make it a bigger hit in Telugu.

There were rumours spinning about a Tamil remake of the same movie. But all the speculation was let down by the director when he announced the project in Telugu, that too with Venkatesh, with whom he made ‘Chanti’ before!
