Akshay Kumar, Bollywood action hero turned mass entertainer, doesnt think that he will get a national award as an actor. He believes that he is born to entertain. Though many want him to get, even his favorites like his wife and his mother-in-law had given quotes supporting Akshays candidature for the national award.
When Akshay was asked why he feels that he is not the choice for the award he shared, I do entertaining films and they select only actors who do serious films for the national award.
He was speaking at a press meet organized for the promotion of his forthcoming mad caper Housefull. He proudly admitted that he is an entertainer and jokingly said that I wonder what I have done to deserve a Padmashree.
