I am tensed, says Shivaji

It is hardly a week to go for release of Taj Mahal. And its producer, actor Shivaji, is keeping his fingers crossed. In fact, he has confessed to experiencing heebie-jeebies.
Having pinned great hopes on Taj Mahal, both as a producer and as an actor, Shivaji feels that the Kannada remake will be universally liked by all sections of the audiences. It is because, he says, the film is a piece of "slice-of-life cinema."
As the title explains, it's a love story. One doesn't know if it is yet another tragedy (don't we know, Maro Charitra is releasing five days after TM?), but all one can hope for is a heart-touching romantic caper from the talented artiste and his director.
Shivaji is expecting not less than 80-90% openings, though his films have never crossed 60-70% in the opening week. As a producer, he says that he is hopeful.
He says that, "as an actor, I am content, but as a producer, I am tensed."
