As Leader has been touted as a political film, Shekar Kammula's fans are hoping that the film will stick to its professed genre and offer some authentic solutions to some political problems haunting the state.

It is known Andhra Pradesh has seen political convulsions in the recent past, and it is only expected that the film touches some of them uncontroversially.

As the director has said repeatedly that the film is an honest take on the leadership vacuum prevalent anywhere in the country, the film is expected to be bold. It has been a long time since the audience have seen a thoroughly bold film with political undertones, and Leader is expected to fill the vacuum.

The last thing you can expect from the film is politically-correct statements. Hope that the film, produced by AVM which has no link with AP, is neutral yet bold when it comes to taking on ubiquitous political corruption.
