Anushka-starrer 'Panchakshari' is currently filming in Hyderabad. The film is directed by Samudra and produced by Bommadevara Chandrarao, who was a makeup assistant to actor Nagarjuna. Currently the unit is filming important scenes of the film.

The director has said that the film will have extraordinary scenes and story. He says that Anushka's characterisation and performance will be crucial.

The makers are planning to release the movie for summer. Samrat, Nasser, Chandramohan, Pradeep Rawath are playing important roles. Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Ali Raghubabu, Uttej, Sana and Shakunthala will also be seen.

The film will bear no resemblance as such to Arundhathi, says Samudra. Madhu Vipparthi has lent the story. It has dialogue by Thota Prasad, while music is by Chinni. Akkineni Venkataratnam is producing the film.

While it is presented by Nagarjuna, it has cinematography by Vasu.
