It may be said that Veeru Potla, who is turning director with Manchu Manoj's Bindaas, is coming up with a promise. It is because, he is a talented story writer, who has lent stories for blockbusters like Varsham and Nuvvu Vasthanante Nenu Vaddantana in the past. He has also lent the story for films like Something Something.. Unnakkum Ennakum and Mazhai.

The film Bindaas is said to be an entertainer, with loads of romance and action guaranteed. Hitting the screens on the 5th, the film also stars Sheena opposite Manoj. Music is by Bobo Shashi of Kollywood.

In the film, Manoj plays a character who likes to lead life in a cool fashion. Coming with the caption, 50% Class, 50% Mass, 100% Bindaas, the film is one of the hot contenders for January.

Many writers have turned directors in the past. It is to be seen if Potla becomes a success in the new department.
