Krishnudu-Saranya Mohan starrer Villagelo Vinayakudu has completed 50-day run in 12 centres across the state. The small concept movie has been directed by Sai Kiran Adivi, who debuted with Vinayakudu.

The movie has been liked by the family audience, who enjoyed the music, feel-good narration and mild humour. From the beginning, it was touted as a sweet love story, devoid of cheap comedy and action. The film lived up to its pre-release publicity and doled out healthy entertainment to the audience.

Moonwater Pictures could make the film on a shoestring budget (Rs. 1.39 cr.) and release it with minimum prints. However, after the first week, the makers received orders for extra prints. Ditto with the music (Manikanth Kadri) which turned out to be a bigger hit than expected.

The Chandamama-kinda film has earned profits, while Krishnudu is doing a role of good length in a high profile film under Indirara Productions.
