Divya Spandana, who was popularly known as 'Kuthu' Ramya in Tamil cinema, has donated her eyes to a Bangalore-based eye hospital.
The actress signed a form expressing willingness to donate eyes at her birthday function held recently. She has also urged her fans to follow the suit and to create a world where there are no visually impaired.
Divya, a popular actress in Kannada, entered Tamil films as Ramya with Silambarasan starrer 'Kuthu'. This made fans and peers to call her 'Kuthu' Ramya.
The actress however made her original name Divya Spandana official after some time. She was last seen in 'Varanam Aayiram' opposite Suriya, directed by Goutham Menon.
