Two highly expected films ‘Gokula’ directed by top ranking director of Kannada cinema Prakash (of Kushi, Rishi, Sri, Milana, Vamshi) is pitted against the newcomer Prabhu Srinivas ‘Jeeva’. Two from the family of actors Vijaya Raghavendra and Prajwal Devaraj are contesting in the battle of box office this week.

‘Gokula’ is an entertainer with sentiment values and good music says the industry reports. It is about four orphans who dash in to the house aged couple. The aged couple presume that they got back the lost child is what makes the four youths life easy in the house where they live as free loaders. Prakash with pretty good standing is the director for his own story and screenplay. Mano Murthy has scored the music for this film. Vijay Raghavendra, Yash, Pawan, Raghuraj, Pooja Gandhi, Nakshtra, Srinivasamurthy, Sumithra are in the main roles of the film. Sathya Hegde is the cameraman.

Prajwal Devaraj son of dynamic hero Devaraj in ‘Jeeva’ is another carefully thought out preparations by P2 productions Paramesh and Prem. Ruthwa of ‘Jolly Days’ is the main heroine from this film. This film has lovely music from Gurukiran. Sabha Kumar is the cameraman. Prajwal appears in three shades is interesting part. There is action, emotions and romantic songs to gather the attention. Prabhu Srinivas the choreographer turns director from this film.
