While Karthi’s graph is raising steadily, the remake project of ‘Siruthai’ which was supposed to be directed by Kathir is dropped.

It’s was decided earlier that this remake will be produced by Karthi’s home banner Studio Green after the hero finishes his commitment for ‘Paiya’. This remake was supposed to have Anushka opposite Karthi and it’s is from a Telugu hit called ‘Vikramarkudu’.

But when everything was all fine, Karthi’s daddy dear came up with an opposition saying that this film is not needed for Karthi at this time of his career. Further he added that it’s too earlier for Karthi to paint himself with the dye of an action hero. Sivakumar wants the young hero to act in films with good strong story during his initial stage and then change his track. Now the remake film has passed on to the hands of Nakul.
