After the demise of producer Chikkanna the film ‘18th Cross’ – Namma Adda… faced acute problems and nearly three years after the start of the film it is gaining ground with the help of producer Suresh Gowdru, distributor Jayanna and Akshay Audio TP Siddaraju.

The audio cassettes and CD of the film ‘18th Cross’ was released jointly in a function at Renukamba auditorium in 18th cross Malleswaram on Monday morning. Balaji Digital studio Kari Subbu, director Guruprasad, Shashikumar (son of producer late Chikkanna), actor Deepak, Radhika Pandit, music director Arjun jointly released the audio album of the film.

Deepak the ‘Shishya’ fame hero having a low key in the last two years for series of flop films is having high hopes on this film. The narration of the film ‘18th Cross’ is different from other films feels Deepak. This is a very special film for actress Radhika Pandit as it is a debut film for her career. After signing this film she got fame in quite a few films like ‘Mogginna Manasu, Love Guru, Olave Jeevana Lekkachara’ Kannada films.

Director Shanker turned emotional in his address as his maiden project locked for three years in various problems. Shashikumar son of late Chikkanna explained that he lost his base with the death of his father and with struggle this film has been completed.

'18th Cross' is releasing in the month of November 2009.
