Believe it or not, Tamil film industry grapevine has it that a recent dinner party hosted by Suriya and Jyothika has united the Goutham Menon-Harris Jayaraj duo, which witnessed a break after an eight-year long successful partnership.

If sources are to be believed, the actor couple, whose career graph touched great heights after Kakkha Kakkha, directed by Goutham and music composed by Harris, decided to smoke the peace-pipe between the filmmaker and music composer.

As a result, they arranged for a dinner, for which they invited Goutham without mentioning that Harris is going to take part and invited Harris without telling him that Goutham is going to attend.

Both Harris and Goutham were initially shocked to meet each other at the dinner. They however exchanged pleasantries after a short while and were seen chatting for a long time, it is said. When the party came to an end, they reportedly left the place with all smiles, thanking Suriya and Jo for coming up with such an idea and implementing it.

Goutham and Harris, who worked together ever since they started their career with Minnale, parted ways during Varanam Aayiram (Tamil), starring Suriya. A R Rahman is the music composer for the forthcoming two Tamil projects of Goutham- Vinnaithandi Varuvaya and Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikkalam.
