Director Vettrimaran entered Tamil cine industry through ‘Polladhavan’. From the time when the film kicked off, rumours were abuzz that ‘Polladhavan’ had heavy shades of an Italian masterwork movie ‘Bicycle Thieves’. Same way gossip mills are spinning tales that the director’s current project ‘Aadukalam’ is also an inspiration of a successful world cinema.

Meanwhile the film’s heroine Trisha had some problems in adjusting her call sheet and walked out of the project. Vettrimaran is not bothered about anyone and is doing his job as scheduled. He is now shooting the scenes that deal with the hero Dhanush in Madurai. When we contacted the director to know if he had got the heroine, he answers were surprisingly so cool…

“I am shooting the action sequences with Dhanush as of now. Only after I finish these scenes I will look out for the heroine of the film. I have decided to choose afresh face who has never appeared even in a single scene. As the heroine of the film is an Anglo Indian as per the script, the skin tone of the girl will be the only decisive factor. On top of everything, freshers won’t have call sheet problem,” said the director light-heartedly. Hmm… that’s common to pull-off from a project. Now, we are eyeing eagerly around Vettrimaran’s office to capture the exclusive first look of this fresh face. So, catch you all soon with that…
