There were those black and white times when actors were expected to be good singers as well since they had to sing their songs. However times changed and there were professional people to perform their own roles. Now times are changing again.
Actors have started to perform other roles as well including stunts and off late singing. Actors like Junior NTR, Vikram, Siddarth have started to sing their own songs.
However these actors are not doing as a necessity but as a challenge. With the kind of competition these days, the actors seem to take up new challenges to use their talent and are proving their mettle at the chartbusters as well.
