The city reflected lot of changes since her last visit here. Waheeda Rehman on her recent visit to Chennai was very much aback to see the rapid development and the changed scenario. The city gave her fine moments during her brief stay.

A charity show gave her deserving honour by dedicating a musical night in her name. But Waheeda Rehman returned to her home, sad at heart. She had come in high hopes with a desire to see our superstar Rajinikanth.

But all her hopes went in vain owing to ill health of Rajinikanth. The superstar was not keeping well and so all his social appointments were cancelled. It was said that when Waheeda Rehman was on a Japan trip, she found that Rajinikanth enjoy immense popularity than any other Indian actors there. This made her very inquisitive and curious to meet the great actor of Kollywood.

But our adorable hero has plans of meeting her – either by visiting her city or by inviting her back to Chennai – sources said.
